Shotokan Karate England and Karate London offer a range of karate classes seven days per week for all ages and abilities in North East London and the Chingford, Wanstead, Harlow, Walthamstow, Enfield, Woodford, South Woodford, Leyton, Whitechapel, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, and Middlesex areas. Our Shotokan Karate Clubs also have regular gradings and courses with top International instructors.

Welcome Sweden! We welcome Sweden Shotokan Karate who are coming over in November for the SKE Course and Dan Grading. We look forward to a great weekend together.


NEW Clubs. We now welcome Sensei Tony Denham and the excellent Portsmouth Shotokan Karate Club into SKE. The Portsmouth Club has a long and successful history producing many top students and competitors, and we look forward to more success together in the future.


The renowned Chingford Karate Club is now based at the Sylvestrian Leisure Centre and we have a new karate club at EDMONTON in North London, based at 'Aspire' Health & Fitness, with Beginners Classes & Advanced classes for Black & Brown belts.

Sensei Dave Hazard Masterclass

Karate Instructors and students attended the latest SKE Karate Masterclass held over the weekend of 19th & 20th July. Sensei Dave Hazard 7th Dan gave a superb course covering advanced techniques, kata and kata applications. Instructors travelled to the event from Warwick, Plymouth, Norfolk, Suffolk and even travelled over from France for the two days of intense karate. The weekend was finished off with a special party to celebrate the event. Watch out for more courses with Sensei Hazard and some other very special and unique karate instructors.
